If you do face the symptoms you will go through an ultrasound scan under advisement by your GP to confirm the diagnosis.

What Are The Causes Of Fibroids?

The causes have not been determined as yet despite extensive research. The enquiry into the cause continues even as we speak. However the occurrence of Fibroids has been linked to -

  • Genetics
  • Obesity
How Are Fibroids Treated?

Fibrous treatment may be quite unnecessary if there are no harmful symptoms. They diminish over time as the oestrogen supply in the body reduces with age.

If you do face challenges due to Fibroids your physician may suggest hormone therapy to control the oestrogen levels in your body. Failing that, non invasive surgery is a useful weapon against Fibroids.
